Previous Review from 2019: Dr. Kobilov did my root canal and I haven't felt this good in ages! Thank you Dr. Kobilov! And my thanks to Sue as well! She called to notify me of the appointments gave me tips on how to get ready for the winter and there is always a good chat every time with a lot of advice! Review from 2024: I’ve been with Dr. Kobilov for the last 5 years. Before that I had no idea about dental care; today it’s the least of worries. Last visit was a cleaning session with Jayci. Not only was she informative and super helpful but she gave me a wealth of information about what happens if we don’t take care of our teeth properly. She also let me know that the cleaning routine Dr. Kobilov advised me to stick to was performing greatly; my last cleaning session was two years ago. Jesse is also super helpful no matter what communication medium you use. Email? Phone? Text? She’s meticulous and manages to solve any hiccup that comes up flawlessly and giving you appointments that fit your schedule. Follow the instructions they tell you and the plan they draft for you and I assure you you won’t regret it. I’ve been with them as a grad student with a limited budget yet it has been a great experience! Dr. Kobilov and his team are a few of the people I truly appreciate in Kingston.

The most relaxed and comfortable experience I had ever had at a dentist appointment. Your staff members were incredibly friendly professional and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout my visit. The clinic was clean well-organized and had a pleasant ambiance that helped ease any anxiety I had about the visit. The treatment I received was of high quality and I appreciate the thoroughness and care that went into it. The staff did an excellent job of explaining the procedures costs involved and follow-up care instructions. I didn't have to wait long for my appointments which I greatly appreciated. I particularly want to commend doctor Pazliddin Kobilov and Goliba for their exceptional service and professionalism. These folks are fantastic. I've been trying to get dental work done for over 4 years and got put off by others and told disastrous things about my health-like all my teeth had to go. I just went to KMA - the people and the doctor are just wonderful - efficient and kind and in only 45 min had 2 teeth filled and a canine removed. This is the first time in my years (i'm 64) that I didn't get stuffed up from smells in the office; they have air purifiers and the doctor checks with you all the time he works. I have another apt in just 2 weeks in which he will repair the teeth on the other side. No loses. All the staff are friendly and kind. Edit: I'm just adding on that months later i have almost all my work done. Amongst family emergencies and my own health troubles all of the staff and the doctor at the clinic are wonderful and compassionate. Wish i had found them earlier !!

I usually dread going to the dentist because of my anxiety but Jayci made my experience absolutely exceptional. She took her time and gave my teeth a thorough cleaning making sure to address all of my questions and concerns along the way. Jayci's kindness and personable nature really put me at ease and I left feeling genuinely happy with my visit. The receptionist is always kind and takes her time to answer any questions I have which really helps make the experience less stressful. And of course Dr. Kobilov is amazing as always—consistently professional reassuring and kind. It’s so comforting to know I’m in good hands with this entire team. Highly recommend this clinic!

I recently had a new patient exam a cleaning and six fillings completed over several appointments. Throughout every visit the entire team has been incredibly kind and thoroughly professional. Everyone I’ve interacted with—whether the dentist hygienist or receptionist—has been outstanding. They also follow the CDA fee guide closely which aligns well with my insurance coverage making the whole experience smooth and worry-free.

One of the most amazing appointments I've ever experienced. Dr. Kaur was wonderful and very kind. The reception team is excellent and so friendly. The entire process from booking (last minute) to procedure was flawless. They went above and beyond to help me and their costs were less than expected. The office is cozy the staff are amazing. Needless to say I've made them my new dentist going forward.

Dr. Kobolov is an excellent dentist you can trust. Kobolov's work is clean and precise. The receptionists and hygienists are respectful and kind. This is a really great clinic that I highly recommend. I wish I had discovered this clinic sooner before wasting time and money on incompetent and sloppy dentists whose work falls apart or causes bigger problems.

Dr Pazliddin Kobilov

General Dentist

Dr. Kobilov graduated in 1988 from the Tashkent State Stomatology Institute, Uzbekistan. When he came to Canada in 2008, he continued his studies at the University Of Toronto, Faculty Of Dentistry, in a program designed for internationally trained dentists. He graduated in 2014 and moved to the Kingston area with his family. He also attended a Live Implant Training and Education course in Kingston that same year.

In his practice, he offers a wide range of dental services including oral surgery, implant restoration, crown, bridge, and cosmetic dentistry. He is fully committed to his profession and continues learning through mentoring with dental specialists and dental training courses.

Outside of work, he spends the majority of his time with his wife, his two daughters and two sons. Together they enjoy travelling, fishing, and movies.

His work life is dedicated to providing oral health care in a comfortable, welcoming environment, where every patient is a friend. At KMA Dental, everyone leaves with a bigger, brighter smile.
Dr Darryl Thoms

General Dentist

During your visit with Dr. Darryl Thoms, you may notice how gentle, down-to-earth, and calm he is. Generally, the office atmosphere becomes peaceful and relaxing for staff and patients. Dr. Thoms graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2006 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.

After graduating, he moved to Kingston to begin his dental career. Four years later, he decided to expand his horizons and extend his services to members of the Canadian Forces and their families in Petawawa. Now, Dr. Thoms is pleased to return to Kingston to continue his dental career at KMA Dental. Dr. Thoms is passionate about patient care and strives for excellence in all aspects of dentistry.

In addition to his D.M.D. degree, Dr. Thoms holds a Double Specialist degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology (B.Sc.) from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University, and a Graduate Certificate in Health Care.

Dr. Thoms is a firm believer in lifelong education and is currently working towards a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). For recreation, Dr. Thoms enjoys playing softball and soccer and spending time at the family cottage.
Dr Simran Dhanoa

General Dentist

Dr. Dhanoa graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She is a strong advocate for clear communication and compassionate care in her practice. With experience in four-handed dentistry, Dr. Dhanoa efficiently utilizes Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

She is well-organized and skilled at prioritizing tasks and responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care, always upholding ethics, and professionalism. Additionally, she has been a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario since July 2014.
Dr Jitesh Haryani

General Dentist

Dr. Jitesh Haryani earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2023. He provides comprehensive general dental care, including sedation options for both adults and children, with a focus on making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Dr. Haryani is a firm believer in patient-centric dentistry and values the importance of building trust and rapport to support positive outcomes and lasting relationships with his patients.

He lives in Kingston with his wife and child. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.
